banker; representative of Rossiysky Kredit bank in the Arabian Gulf (1995-1997);  Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (1991-1995); Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the USSR (1983-1991). Publications: over 30 papers on economic issues pertaining to the countries of the Middle East and Arabian Gulf including a monograph on Islamic banking.
